Hi everyone!This weekend John had a triathlon in Oxnard called Strawberry Fields (because they ride along the strawberry fields....) and it was a 1/4 mile swim in the ocean, 11.5 mile bike ride and 3 mile run.
Due to "unsafe water conditions" (aka crazy waves!), the swim was cancelled so he was only able to do the bike and run. I don't think he cared since the water was so cold! His friend Nate competed in it with him, and I was able to hang out with his wife Rebecca and son Collin (8 mo), along with our friends Brian & Sarah. We had a great time and both of the guys did great!

Way to go John! Tell him congrats for finishing the race. Sounds like you guys had some fun! We'll have to get together soon.

Thanks for the comment. :) I got a blog after reading Kristal's for a few weeks. Took me awhile to figure out how to do much on it. Sound like you guys had a great weekend! Tell John congrats for competing! See you next week at church hopefully.
