Hello! It's been quite a while since my last posting and we have lots of updates. I've been meaning to sit down and update my blog for a few weeks now but haven't gotten around to it. I guess I'll start around Easter weekend. I had some great pics from Easter Sunday, but somehow deleted them. =( Sooo bummed. But I'll post what I have, even though they aren't very clear.
Anyhow....that Friday, we hung out with our friends Wendy& Russell and their two kids, Aidan (3) and Clara (10 mo). They brought over a playset/slide that they aren't using anymore and Maddy just LOVES it! It's so nice to have something for her to play on in our backyard. Thanks Wendy & Russ! =)
On Saturday we attended a play of The Passion at our church; a re-creation of the final days of Jesus and his death. It was so wonderful and very heart wrenching.
Easter Sunday we went to the sunrise service at our church.....a Long family tradition. We get up really early, throw on some warm clothes, grab blankets, stop for donuts & hot chocolate and then head up to our church's outdoor amphitheater for some worship. It's beautiful and so much fun. I love that we've been going since we were dating. =) After that, we took a quick nap and then went to a brunch at our friends (Brian & Sarah) parent's home. Sarah's sister has two young kids, so Maddy had a blast playing and hunting Easter eggs.
After that we headed over to John's mom's house for dinner and spent time with his sister Erika and her family, Andre (hubby), Jordan & Reese . It was a great day, but too much food and candy! That's all for now. I will be back soon to update you on our trip!

Welcome Natalie Ryan!
A big congratulations to my friends Kristal and Shaun Sawyer for the addition of their baby girl, Natalie Ryan. Natalie arrived on Saturday, April 1st at 10:45am and was 7 lbs 7 oz, 21" long. More importantly, she was healthy and anxiously greeted by her loving family.
